OrientationInternational Student Orientation Week
Registration, residence permit clinic, campus tours, bank and SIM card desks, and the welcome reception for newly arrived students and their families.
Campus life
A compact university city on the Danube, 55,000 students, and a campus organised so that arriving from abroad is straightforward.
The city
Novi Sad is the second city of Serbia, a former European Capital of Culture and the seat of a university tradition going back to 1960. It is small enough to cross by bicycle, safe at night, and inexpensive enough that a student can live comfortably on around 450 EUR a month.
The campus sits beside the Danube quay and the city park, fifteen minutes on foot from the old town square and the Petrovaradin fortress, and an hour by shuttle from Belgrade international airport.
Student life

Two university residences within fifteen minutes of the campus, with shared kitchens, study rooms, laundry and 24-hour reception. Rooms are guaranteed to all first-year international students who apply by 15 August.
University sports hall, football and basketball courts, rowing on the Danube with the city club, and inter-faculty leagues each semester. Membership is included in the student fee.
A quiet reflection room on campus, vegetarian and special-diet options in the student canteen, and cultural societies covering more than twenty national communities.
On-campus general practitioner clinic, free confidential counselling in English and Serbian, and a student insurance desk assisting with the national health system.
Every new student is paired with a senior student volunteer for the first semester — airport pick-up, city orientation, bank account, SIM card and the first grocery run.
International Food Festival, Nations Week, the Danube Boat Day and the Winter Ball, organised by the Student Parliament with the city of Novi Sad.

Accommodation
Every first-year international student who applies by 15 August is guaranteed a place in a university residence. Rooms are shared by two students, furnished, heated and connected, with shared kitchens, laundry, study rooms and 24-hour reception.
